| Recently, our friend & customer, Joe Lapille, was involved in an accident while working on his bug. He was grinding out the bellhousing of the transmission case on his 1965 VW Beetle, so that a 12 volt flywheel would fit (A '65 uses a smaller 6 volt.) The transmission is made of magnesium. The shavings somehow ignited and left him badly burned. He will be spending the next month or so undergoing skin grafts & recovering at Lubbock's University Medical Center. Our thoughts and prayers are with him & his family throughout this very difficult time.
